Reflect was founded by parents raising children who understand both the joys and challenges of family life. Ryan Briscoe and Patrick Middleton established Reflect out of their shared experience as fathers, their professional backgrounds in child and family therapy, and their deep commitment to protecting and strengthening the family according to God’s design.

We believe that God has entrusted parents with the sacred responsibility to raise their children in accordance with His truth. Our counseling approach supports parents by fostering healthy parent–child communication, promoting mutual understanding, and gently guiding children to honor and respect their parents’ authority. Our goal is to help unify the family, restoring relationships where mom and dad are valued, respected, and central in the child’s life.

We also recognize that not all families reflect this ideal due to painful realities such as parental abandonment, abuse, or other trauma. In such situations, we provide compassionate care that honors biblical principles while supporting the child’s healing and stability. In every case, our focus remains on those who are raising the child and how we can include them in the therapeutic process; helping children and teens grow emotionally and spiritually while learning to trust and respect those God has placed over them.

Things can and do change. There is always hope.
